Full-time consultant/advisor, I train faculty and grad students by invitation at US universities (i.e. Duke. U of Chicago) in supporting executive functions. Day to day, I work with a broad variety of clients on their career and academic goals,from high school- medical residents. This includes dissertation/thesis coaching, a great mix of my former English teaching background and experience in academic/EF coaching; I know what your writing should look and sound look but also how you can GET. IT. DONE.
2019-2023- Learning Specialist/later Director of Academic Support & Career Counseling at UTMB School of Medicine: 1:1 and class support to MD and PA students.
2015-2019: Learning Specialist for Univ of Houston-Clear Lake running Academic Coaching- helping freshmen-doctoral students with study strategies, time management, organization. This includes recognizing and capitalizing on students’ neurodiversity: neurotypicality, ADHD, dyslexia/graphia, TBIs, mental health challenges, Autism.
