Lisa Joy Tuttle offers individual and group coaching in her international private practice and serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine, where she launched her popular Mindful Self-Management® executive skills coaching groups for ADHD adults, and she frequently collaborates with psychiatrists, psychotherapists, and other professionals to support their ADHD clients as part of an interprofessional team. Lisa has a master’s in applied psychology and a PhD in transformative studies. Her doctoral research examined ADHD adults’ experiences and perspectives transcending stigma and expressing potential in the pursuit of a doctoral degree. Lisa’s training in cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based approaches inform her coaching. She has been a member of ACO since 2012 and a longstanding member of ACO’s Research Committee. Along with her colleagues Liz Ahmann, Micah Saviet, and Sarah D. Wright, Lisa has published research on the effectiveness of ADHD coaching and she is enthusiastic about its growing evidence base.
