Cindy Palmer
Owner, Threshold Coaches
With over 25 years of experience in educational and therapeutic contexts, I understand the challenges young adults with ADHD face both academically and emotionally. My career began with 5 years in the HS classroom, followed by a Masters in Counseling. This is where my exploration of neurodivergence began with research focused on the emotional impact of ADHD. As a licensed therapist, I witnessed the profound impacts of depression, anxiety, and various forms of trauma in young people’s lives. With my awareness as an educator and therapist, I founded Threshold Coaches where we empower college students with ADHD to harness their strengths, explore key EF skills, and advocate for their needs within the college setting. My roles include implementing research-based training and case consultation for our team, meeting with new families to facilitate in depth Intakes before we begin. I have participated in various speaking engagements as well as podcasts with leading experts on parenting adolescents and the world of neurodivergent support. I have supplemented my training with the Anti- Boring Certified Coach program as well as regular trainings through the ACO.
