Diane Thomson
Thomson Blueprints for Living, LLC
Diane has spent her career listening — not just with her ears, but with her whole body. She believes the body knows things the mind hasn’t yet found words for, and that insight has shaped everything she does.
Her path began in dance. With a Master’s in Dance/Movement Therapy, she led psychotherapeutic groups in New York City hospitals, learning early that movement could unlock what talk therapy sometimes couldn’t. Later, a pivot to professional organizing revealed something unexpected: her clients had the desire to change but often lacked the tools. That gap led her to ADHD coaching, and a new calling.
In 2012, Diane started her coaching journey, receiving the Professional Certified Neurodiversity Coach® (PCNC) credential through the Coach Approach Training Institute along with the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation. Today, she weaves together somatic wisdom — from Authentic Movement, yoga, and relaxation practices — directly into her coaching methodology.
Diane is honored to actively support the curriculum at the Coach Approach Training Institute, where she teaches the Body-Based Coaching course and co-facilitates ADHD-focused courses alongside Cameron Gott, PCC, and Ari Tuckman, PsyD. She also teaches the Group Mentor Coaching course and finds deep satisfaction mentoring the next generation of coaches.
Outside of her work, Diane lives in New Jersey and brings the same energy to life off the clock — playing tennis, tending her garden, getting lost in historical dramas, and dancing whenever the mood strikes. That same wholeness carries into her coaching: when Diane works with you, she brings her whole self — the therapist, the organizer, the coach, and the dancer — and meets you exactly where you are.
