Dr. Selena Sanchez
ADHD Coach and consultant, Back on Track Coaching Plus
I’m a trained ADHD coach with doctorate-level training, supporting individuals who navigate challenges like procrastination, time blindness, difficulty starting or finishing tasks, and feeling overwhelmed by daily responsibilities. I work with clients who may feel stuck, inconsistent, or frustrated despite their capabilities, helping them better understand how their ADHD shows up in everyday life.
Drawing on advanced training and evidence-informed techniques, I provide practical, action-oriented coaching tailored to how your brain works. My approach is strengths-based and collaborative, focused on building sustainable systems, improving follow-through, and reducing the friction that can make daily life feel harder than it needs to be. This is coaching—not therapy—with an emphasis on forward movement, skill-building, and real-world application.
Education, Training & Certifications
I am a trained ADHD coach and Certified Life Coach with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate challenges such as procrastination, time blindness, inconsistency, overwhelm, and difficulty with follow-through. Since 2010, I have supported clients in building practical systems, strengthening executive functioning skills, and creating sustainable, real-world change through structured, action-oriented coaching.
Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how the mind works, particularly in relation to neurodivergence and ADHD. My work focuses on how ADHD influences attention, executive functioning, emotional regulation, motivation, and behavior, and how these patterns show up in daily life through challenges with organization, time management, consistency, and task initiation. I also consider the mind-body connection—how stress, cognitive load, and dysregulation impact energy, decision-making, and follow-through. This perspective informs a coaching approach that is both practical and tailored to how ADHD brains actually function, with an emphasis on turning insight into action.
My academic background includes an Associate’s and Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, a Master’s in Forensic Psychology, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I am also a licensed mental health clinician, a Substance Use Professional, and a licensed addiction counselor in Colorado and California, with extensive experience in addiction and mental health.
While my clinical and academic training provide a strong foundation in human behavior and change processes, my ADHD services are offered strictly as coaching. My focus is on action, accountability, skill-building, and real-world application to help clients move forward with clarity and consistency.
