Elizabeth McCarron
Certified ADHD Life Coach, Excel with ADHD
Dr. McCarron has worked in higher education for more than 25 years, including many years of teaching undergrad courses in information technology. In 2017 she earned a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership with a dissertation entitled “Faculty Willingness and Ability to Academically Accommodate Students with Learning Disabilities.” Her research focuses on accessibility; the student/faculty relationship; and self-advocacy in students with learning disabilities and ADHD. Liz is a 2021 graduate of the International ADHD Training Center (iACT)’s certified ADHD Life Coach program (CALC), and holds an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She specializes in working with undergraduates, graduate students, and academics with ADHD to collaborate on creating structure, support, skills, and strategies to move them towards their personal and academic goals. She also works with high school students preparing for college/careers, and adults managing personal change and taking ownership of their lives.
