Erin Krellwitz
Ph.D., Moss and Maple, LLC
I earned a PhD in botany at Duke University, developed science education materials for Carolina Biological Supply, assisted a photographer in his small business, and volunteer with a recreational therapy program through our Veterans Affairs Hospital. I am parenting twice-exceptional (2e) emerging adults in a complicated world. Those experiences and an interest in starting a new chapter in my life, led me to complete over 60 hours of ICF-approved training with Coach Approach Training Institute. I bring all my curiosity to my work as a life coach with a focus on neurodiversity, and a love for helping people figure out what they want in their life.
Most of my clients are twice-exceptional (2e) meaning they are both gifted and ADHD, or gifted and autistic, or gifted and something else. But given the complications of diagnosis and the complexities of humans, none of that is a requirement. My clients don’t need cookie-cutter answers. They need a guide to help them explore what will actually work for them. I ask questions and point out alternative perspectives so they can build and assess their own solutions. Together, we create a safe space for that courageous exploration.
Education, Training & Certifications
My foundational coach training was with Coach Approach Training Institute. I have supplemented that with master classes through Neurodiversity Coaching Academy. I have a PhD in botany (molecular systematics) from Duke University and a BS in Biology from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
