Rachael Young
ADHD & Executive Function Coach, Simple Patterns Coaching
I’ve worked in education and youth empowerment services for over a decade, with training and experience supporting neurodivergent youth, their families, and girls & women with ADHD. I have my own lived experience with disability and neurodevelopmental disorders, and a strong core value of providing equitable and accessible services. I specialize in working with young people with ADHD, specifically supporting girls & women, 2e youth, and GNC individuals. I believe that harnessing the inherent inventiveness & creativity of ADHD is the foundation for growth. It’s an honor to be part of the journey, and to witness and celebrate effort and success along the way.
About me: I grew up in the Canadian Pacific Northwest, traveled and moved a whole lot after university, and immigrated to the USA with my family to settle in Eugene, Oregon in 2012. I like chickens, playing Irish traditional music, and cracking eye-wateringly bad jokes.
Coaching Specializations: Girls and nonbinary/GNC teens & young adults; twice-exceptional (2e) individuals; young adults transitioning into college or graduate school; women with a recent ADHD diagnosis; individuals navigating chronic conditions/illness.
